NOTICE: Whilst the Canolfan Eirianfa Centre is closed to the public from Monday 28th July to Thursday 21st August 2025 the Community Fridge will temporarily move to Capel Mawr on Beacons Hill. The Eirianfa Community Fridge was established in November 2023 with the aim of reducing food waste in Denbigh, North Wales. It intends to be a hub for sharing surplus food supplies and to help support those in food poverty by distributing food for free.
It is run by around 20 volunteers from the local area, who work hard to ensure the fridge is stocked and ready for opening every Monday and Thursday.
The current opening times are Monday mornings from 10.30am to 12pm, with our doors opening from 10am and Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am, with our doors opening from 9am.
The food is available for free and we are open to all. We do have a one-bag per household rule in place and there is a donation bucket available for those who wish to help support the work of the fridge and its volunteers.
